Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, graced the 64th National Art Akademi Award Ceremony organized by the Lalit Kala Akademi as the Chief Guest. During the ceremony, the Hon’ble President conferred awards upon 20 artists. On this occasion, Hon’ble Union Minister of Culture, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Shri Vivek Agrawal, were also prominently present. In India’s tradition, art has been regarded as a form of spiritual practice. Artists have always been accorded a special respect in our society — Hon’ble President.
