Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Government of India, visited the 3rd Print Biennale India at the Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Kolkata.
Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Government of India, visited the 3rd Print Biennale India at the Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Kolkata. He was accompanied by Dr. Nand Lal Thakur, Vice Chairman, Lalit Kala Akademi; Shri C. S. Krishna Setty, Commissioner, 3rd Print Biennale India; Shri Aneish P. Rajan, Director, Ministry of Culture; and esteemed Members of the Advisory Committee. During the visit, the Hon’ble Minister toured the exhibition galleries and expressed deep appreciation for the outstanding artworks showcased by artists from India and across the world. The Biennale has received an overwhelming response, with 1,449 entries submitted by national and international artists, out of which 204 exceptional works have been selected for exhibition. The Hon’ble Minister commended the quality of the exhibited works and lauded the dedicated efforts and hard work of the entire Lalit Kala Akademi team. The visit concluded with a group photograph with the staff of Lalit Kala Akademi. The exhibition remains open to the public at the Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Kolkata, until 15 February 2026.
