Scholars Open Studio 2026 was inaugurated at the Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre, Chennai, by Shri Prabhu Viswanathan, eminent art collector, in the presence of Ms. Reiko Furuichi, Researcher and Adviser, Consulate General of Japan, Chennai. The exhibition showcases the works of the Akademi’s Research Scholars in Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture. Organized under the guidance of the Regional Secretary, the exhibition provides a platform for scholars to present their ongoing artistic explorations and research-based practices while engaging with the wider art community. The exhibition will remain open to the public until 22 June 2026 at the Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre, Chennai. Visitors are invited to experience the diverse range of works on display.
