Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi successfully organized a lecture on “Mithila Paintings: 60 Years’ Journey from Courtyards to Museums” by Manisha Jha on 24 June 2026 at Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi. A National Award-winning Mithila painter, architect, and author, Ms. Jha shared valuable insights into the evolution of Mithila Painting, tracing its remarkable journey from the courtyards of rural Bihar to renowned museums and cultural institutions across the world.
