Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Kolkata, successfully organized the inaugural programme of the Prarambh Exhibition of Research Scholars (2023–24) and Working Artists at the galleries of its new building on 1 July 2026. The exhibition was inaugurated by Hon'ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and West Bengal BJP State President, Shri Samik Bhattacharya, in the esteemed presence of eminent artist Shri Subrata Gangopadhyay and officials of the Regional Centre. The inaugural programme witnessed the gracious presence of artists, art lovers, research scholars, and art enthusiasts, making the occasion a vibrant celebration of creativity, artistic excellence, and cultural exchange. The exhibition is open to the public and will continue until 7 July 2026.
