Shri Samar Nanda, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, along with his team, visited the Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Kolkata, on 4 July 2026. Shri Nanda was felicitated by Shri Rajeev Kumar, Secretary, Lalit Kala Akademi. During his visit, he visited the newly build centre, visited the artists’ studios, and interacted with the staff of the centre. He appreciated the Centre’s infrastructure, ongoing activities, and the dedicated efforts of its officials and staff. He also encouraged the artistic growth, creativity, and professional development of the working artists associated with the Centre.
