Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Lucknow, celebrated the 72nd Foundation Day of Lalit Kala Akademi with a Lecture Session and Cultural Evening. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Umesh Saxena, Prof. Jayant Khot (Chairman, Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi, Lucknow), Smt. Vibha Singh (Vice Chairperson), Shri Umesh Bhatia, and Dr. Umendra Pratap Singh, in the presence of Dr. Devendra Tripathi, Regional Secretary. During the event, Prof. Umesh Saxena shared his cherished memories and association with Lalit Kala Akademi. Smt. Vibha Singh presented a soulful semi-classical vocal performance, while young artist Atharv Pratap Singh captivated the audience with an enchanting flute recital. On the occasion, senior artists Prof. Umesh Saxena, Smt. Kiran Singh Rathore, Mamta Rabha, Poonam Nag Chaturvedi, Poonam Nagu, and Shri Ajit Singh were felicitated for their valuable contributions to the field of art.
