On 19 August 2026, the Lalit Kala Akademi, North East Regional Centre, Agartala, successfully organised a Seminar to mark World Photography Day. The programme was graced by Dr. Srimanta Ray, artists and students participated enthusiastically, engaging in thoughtful discussions on photography as a powerful medium of art and visual expression. The seminar created a vibrant platform for dialogue and appreciation of the photographic arts, and concluded on a high note with the active involvement of the guest, artists and students.
