Under the initiative “Seva Hi Sanskriti,” Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Lucknow, organised “Kabad Se Kaushal” – a Scrap Metal Sculpture Workshop from 17 to 23 September 2026. During the workshop, artists created captivating sculptures using scrap iron on themes such as Cleanliness, Viksit Bharat, the BrahMos Missile, Music and Art, and Nature and Environment. The artworks were also displayed during the workshop. Shri Girish Pandey, Senior Sculptor, and Shri Swaroop Mandal, Director-in-Charge, Regional Science Centre, Lucknow, graced the programme as distinguished guests. Officers and staff of the Centre, artists, and art enthusiasts were present on the occasion.
